Join us on May 17 at the inaugural Friends Legacy Classic Golf Outing. This annual event will honor an individual who has had a significant influence on Indiana hospitals and health care. Net proceeds from the outing benefit Friends of Indiana Hospitals Political Action Committee/AHAPAC.
Our inaugural outing will honor Spencer Grover. Spencer retired from IHA in January after a 27-year career as vice president of regulatory affairs. His work was wide-ranging in scope and far-reaching in impact. Spencer grew up on a farm in rural Illinois, and he approached his work in health care with a strong sense of responsibility to advocate for that same population. His deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by health care providers in our rural communities paved the way for key regulation on issues crucial to the well-being of critical access facilities in Indiana.
