10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - How to Turn Your Existing Crisis Communication Plan into a Living, Helpful, Easy-to-Use Document by Catherine Morris and Ashley Johnson
In 2021, Kettering Health had to acknowledge the irony of not having the capacity to update its crisis communication plan because they were too busy doing COVID crisis communication. The leaders understood the importance of having a strategic response but had no time to assemble an actionable, easy-to-implement plan. They needed an assist.

This session will explain the collaborative process of transforming the health system's existing crisis communication plan into a living, easily edited document. It will highlight two key areas that require significant attention and provide two templates for attendees to incorporate into their own plans.

In the healthcare industry, moving from a traditional marketing approach to a digital-focused approach is not without its challenges. But navigating the digital marketing space in new and relevant ways is critical for hospital marketers to continue to connect patients to the healthcare services and resources that they need. For this reason, Logansport Memorial Hospital continues to develop and redefine the scope of its digital marketing efforts, one campaign at a time. For pregnant women and new mothers in the communities they serve, Logansport implemented a new digital approach with inbound marketing to connect patients to services in meaningful, personalized ways. The approach has translated into greater awareness, deeper engagement, and a broader market share of OB services in their region.

3:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Improving Patient Access Through WellConnect by Joel Philippsen
Joel will share his department's WellConnect journey of learning, adapting, and continuous improvement to address patient and health system needs with a focus on building relationships. WellConnect at Columbus Regional Health is a free service to connect consumers to providers or health services.
