We appreciate the Holcomb Administration's tireless leadership to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19. Hospitals have added beds and ventilators, reallocated staff, and consolidated services to ensure that Hoosiers have had the healthcare system capacity needed during this public health emergency. Hospitals will continue to carefully monitor their resources and supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to remain fully prepared in the days, weeks and months ahead to care for COVID-19 patients. We encourage Hoosiers to continue to follow the recommendations of health care experts regarding social distancing, hand washing, and other measures to ensure that we minimize the spread of this dangerous virus.
